  1. Wow, Ed, I love the look of these Blenders.

These are 3 very powerful Countertop Blenders.
That big Oster sure looks like a monster.

The Ninja Professional Blender BL610 is quite the performer when it comes to turning ice into snow. It would be very handy to have around on a hot Summer Day. Great that you have a Video of this tough little trooper.

Do you have any Videos for the other 2 models?

Are these blenders used mainly for blended drinks or can they also be used for solid food applications?

How do they rate against Food Processors?

    1. Hi Paul,

Thanks for the comment and great questions.

Do I have Videos for the other models?

There will be more detailed reviews coming in the future and I will make sure to include videos for all models that are reviewed. Sign up for emails to keep in touch with future posts and newsletters.

Are these blenders for blended drinks or solid food applications?

Blenders, especially these very powerful counter top models, are not just for smoothies and blended drinks. Have a look at my blender recipe pages for soups, sauces, breakfast, snacks and dinner entrees where a blender plays an important role, as well as drinks.

      Blenders vs Food Processors?

Blenders have more power than food processors. Blenders have dull blades whereas food processors have ridged, sharp blades so each has a unique role to play in meal preparation. Blenders excel at pulverizing whatever is put in them, including turning ice into snow as you said. Therefore, liquefying produce into drinks, soups and sauces is where it excels. Food processors with less power but sharper blades are used to slice and dice. Use food processors for solid produce and with pulse mode you can make dough. Food processors do not perform well with loose or liquid type produce, use a blender for these.

Hope this answers your questions and please stay tuned.

      Ed
