Crock-Pot 6-Quart Programmable Cook & Carry Slow Cooker with Digital Timer Review
Why should you buy a programmable slow cooker rather than its cousin the mechanical slow cooker? Programmable slow cookers have a timer that automatically switches the cooker to “Warm”. The cooking process stops but the food remains at a lower temperature. Your meal does not overcook but is still hot and ready to eat when you are. The Crock-Pot 6-Quart Programmable Cook & Carry Slow Cooker with Digital Timer has that advantage and more.

Crock-Pot 6-Quart Programmable Cook & Carry Slow Cooker, Product Overview
The Crock-Pot 6-Quart Programmable Cook & Carry Slow Cooker with Digital Timer takes the worry out of slow cooking while you are away. Set its digital countdown timer anywhere from 30 minutes to 20 hours and it will automatically switch to “Warm” setting when the timer finishes counting down.
It has a large 6-quart capacity. This is enough to serve 7 or more people and its oval shape will easily fit a 6 lb. roast or whole chicken. The stoneware insert is also an attractive serving dish for your table. No extra dishware to clean up after the meal.
The see-through lid allows you to check how your meal is coming along without lifting and losing precious heat. Loss of heat in a slow cooker extends the amount of time required to cook a meal.
The lid is sealed and gasketed to the pot to keep heat and moisture trapped inside. Lid locks along with sturdy plastic handles on both sides allow your Cook & Carry Crock-Pot to be taken along with you to parties without risk of spilling contents in your car.
Cleanup is easy. The lid and stoneware are dishwasher-safe or can be washed with soap and hot water. The base only needs to be wiped with a wet cloth.
