Epic Personal Blender and Smoothie

Product Overview

The Epica Personal Blender is a small inexpensive personal blender that comes with a take-along blender bottle and tightly sealing lid so you don’t have to worry about spilling it on the way.

It packs 250 Watts of power at a very fast 23,000 rpm. The BPA-free blending container can handle temperatures from -40°F to 175°F.

There is a single one-touch pushbutton for easy chopping and blending control.

  • Inexpensive
  • Small and convenient
  • Handles hot (175°F) liquids as well as cold (-40°F) – This is well beyond the specs of more expensive units. Most blenders cannot handle such hot liquids without damage to the blender jar or to the equipment seals.
  • Suction feet grip the countertop and prevent slipping
  • Easy to clean, dishwasher safe (except power base)
  • Stainless steel housing base
  • 100% Risk-Free 2-year warranty
  • Good customer support – While checking for negative reviews, of which there were very few, I found that Epica customer support answered almost every one of them with an offer to replace the defective unit no questions asked. See customer comments below.

What Fruits And Veggies Does It Blend?

Epica Personal Blender - blender bottle

The Epica Personal Blender handles most fruits and veggies with ease. For harder textured fruits and veggies, cut them into smaller chunks and don’t pack too much into the container. This will prevent overloading and risk of damage to the motor. Use a little liquid to make processing easier and quicker.

I wanted to use this blender for a while before making a review, and I have to say I couldn’t be happier! For such a small blender it’s powerful. It has had no problem powering through frozen fruit and veggies for my smoothies 1 to 3 times a day! I purchased it because of the price, but the quality has been wonderful. The take along bottle is also good, I like how sleek it is, and the top is really cool looking. My only wish is that it could have come with a straw, but that’s hardly a real complaint. I highly recommend this brand. I was really pleasantly surprised by it!

I’ve gone through 2 personal blenders before this, both of which couldn’t stand up to the frequent use I subject them to. This one has been enough better than the previous ones I tried hands down.

I read tons of the reviews before I purchased this product. I have to say, that I use it at work, and make 2-3 smoothies a day (using ice cubes, milk, and the chocolate veggie/fruit/grasses drink mix. It works tremendously well, and is super-easy to clean afterwards. I have had it quite awhile now, and it shows no signs of slowing down, and/or wear.
Try it, I think you’ll like it!

I was very happy with the blender initially! While using the blender for the third time, the lid with blade got stuck inside and not able to use it anymore. When I tried my best to remove the lid and it didn’t come out. I’m upset.

  1. Great review, Edward.
This little blender looks like a real trooper. You describe its features and purpose very well.
I like how you list all the positive attributes of the Epica Personal Blender. The take along bottle is very handy for a quick, morning get-away.
I also like the fact that it can be used for hot liquids.
Is it possible to purchase extra bottles fro the company? How does this blender compare to the Magic Bullet? Thanks. Paul

    1. Paul,

Thanks for the great comments. Yes, extra bottles are available from Amazon. The manufacturer does not sell directly to the public.

The Magic Bullet and Epica Personal Blender are comparable in small footprint, low power consumption and ease of use/cleaning. I found the Epica to be a little more powerful when it came to blending frozen fruit, the Magic Bullet seems to have difficulty but does manage to do it. I would just worry that the motor will eventually burn out if used for frozen drinks very often.
